Meet Paul Wagner. He’s a Sheriff’s Deputy in Marion County (Indianapolis) Indiana. When not fighting crime, Paul has been moonlighting at a convenience store. Paul’s clerk duties consist of shilling lotto tickets, selling packs of smokes, and soliciting female customers for sex, in exchange for cigarettes and soda.
Say what? We’ve heard of cheap dates before, but a pack of smokes and a Big Gulp will run you about five dollars in Indiana. Five dollars won’t even get you a rub and tug in the seediest parts of town, Paul. Throw in a couple Slim Jims, and we might be in business!
After Paul had offered her the smokes for sex deal several times, the woman wore a wire to the store and got the whole thing on tape:
Spokesman Mario Massillamany says the woman complained to police about Wagner’s advances, and wore a wire on her next visit to the gas station. Investigators say Wagner was recorded offering the woman a pack of cigarettes and a soda to perform sex acts.
