We love men’s magazines (read: nudie magazines) as much as the next guys so it doesn’t take much to convince us to “read” them. However, we’ve got to hand it to publishers – especially Playboy – for coming up with some really entertaining print advertisements to promote their products. 7. Playboy’s Patriotic Boob Grab Ad
We don’t speak the language that this ad is written in so we have no idea what it says, however we do now have a much better understanding of why the rest of the world loves soccer so much.
6. Playboy’s Truck Billboard
The guys painted on the side of this truck are going to be very disappointed when they realize that the truck isn’t headed for the Playboy mansion, but rather some distribution warehouse in El Segundo.

This ad proves that sometimes when it rains, it pours greatness.
3. Playboy’s Bullfighting Booties Ad
We know that this Playboy ad is making some kind of statement about bullfighting, but we think its more important political statement is pro-booty, and that’s something we’d like to get behind.
2. The Penthouse Challenge Ad
Our only non-Playboy ad on the list is this Penthouse magazine ad from 1980 which also happens to be the only ad to challenge readers to fill a woman’s “space.” Yeah, that pretty much sounds like how Penthouse rolls.

This ad for Playboy online is the perfect example of an ad in which you see what you want to see. And what we want to see is not a woman’s hand on her mouse. Well, we guess it depends how you define her “mouse.”
