In our web travels today we happened to come across Playboy.com (the reason why is not important), and while we were there we stumbled upon this list of Frequently Asked Questions about Playboy Playmates. We found it very “educational,” and would like to share some of what we learned with you here in this list of the 6 Most Surprising Facts About Playboy Playmates.
6. If you want to stalk a playmate, Playboy will not help you.
Apparently, “Due to security concerns, Playboy will no longer accept mail for the Playmates that appear in the magazine.” This doesn’t shock us, but what does surprise us is the “no longer” part of the statement. This means that for years Playboy was helping creepy guys get their letters and dong pictures to the Playmates that inspired them? Yikes.
5. You can probably make more as a webcam girl than you can as a playmate these days.
Playmates only get paid $25,000 for a layout. These days, you would think you could make a lot more money than that with your own webcam and a catchy domain name like LeaveItToHerBeaver.com.
4. If three months have passed since you sent Playboy your photos, it’s time to worry.
According to Playboy, all applicants that are chosen to be Playmates are contacted within 90 days of submitting their photos. If you didn’t get chosen, they promise that your photos will be “destroyed,” but we’re pretty sure that destroyed is code for “sold to Youporn.”
3. Playmates love to eat.
The most common Playmate turn-ons are music, animals, eating, clothes and the beach. Shockingly, “banging Bill Maher” didn’t make the list.
2. Playmates hate getting up early.
The most common Playmate turn-offs are egotists, liars, jealousy, rudeness and getting up early. Shockingly, “banging Bill Maher” didn’t make the list.
1. We can get paid for those naked photos we took of our girlfriend when she was drunk last weekend.
Playboy pays a “finder’s fee” of $2,500 if anybody other than the applicant submits photos of a girl to the magazine and she is chosen to become a Playmate. We are so going to quit this blog and focus our efforts on becoming a “Finder.”
