We don’t post a lot of “real-life” type viral videos on here — for the most part we leave those to America’s Funniest Home Videos — but every once in a while we come across one worthy of pointing out. In this case, it’s a video of a guy at the University of North Carolina who decided to make Valentine’s Day special for his girlfriend by bringing her to the middle of campus, assembling a crowd of a couple hundred people, and then breaking up with her. This video really smells like a fake, but it also smells like it’s poised to become the biggest video on the web since that crazy bride who cut her hair in a pre-wedding panic (which, of course, also turned out to be a fake). Real or not, this video is at least amusing. Sort of.
