It is a well known fact (read: our opinion) that spelling bees provide some of the best unintentional comedy you can find anywhere these days. That being said, most situations that are unintentionally funny wind up being lame when somebody tries to make them funny on purpose. However, this spelling bee sketch turns things upside down by finding the humor in the spelling bee judges as opposed to the contestants. We think it’s brilliant — B-R-I-L-L…ah, screw it.
