Usually fairy tales are saved for bedtime stories, but since this isn’t your typical fairy tale we decided to start our day with it. We first came across the short film Dysenchanted a couple years ago at the Aspen Comedy Festival and thought it was one of the most clever shorts we’ve seen. It’s written and directed by Terri Miller (not sure what she’s done since this unfortunately), and features a group of actresses that include such familiar faces as Laura Kightlinger and Alexis Bledel. Oh yeah, and for some reason Jim Belushi is in it as well. As a therapist. But don’t hold that against what really is a great short.
